We have read the short story ' The Hitchhiker´ by Roald Dahl. Now you have to create a comic strip illustrating the part of the story you enjoyed the most. Go to http://www.toondoo.com/ and follow the instructions below.
1- Create an account. Use your email address and a password you will easily remember.
2- Now, click on ' Tools' and then choose Toondoo maker and select the layout of your story: Vertical or horizontal. Wait until Toondoo uploads it.
3- You have a wide range of tools to work on such as characters, bubbles, props, specials or you can also upload your own picture. Remember that in order to create your strip, click on the selected item and drag it to the blank picture.
You can also click on ' TraitR' to create your own character. Here you can choose facial gestures, clothes, body postures, etc. If you click on ' imageR' you will be able to upload your own pictures, which you can save in your gallery and then use. If you click on ' DoodleR' you will be able to edit your comic strips as if it were paintbrush. Once your picture is finished, save it in your gallery and remember to give it a title so that you can search for it later on.
4- On the top left hand corner, click on Toondoo start here and save it ( click on save as). Then give it a title, write a very short description, and click on ' publish' . Now you Toondoo is ready: click on ' OK´ and now your comic strip will show up on the screen.
5- You can download it, share it with friends online, use the embed code.
